Description

This fast growing, first year flowering perennial foxglove received high scores in German trials. It ranked high due to its strong growth habit, floridity, and pure colored flowers. The flowers open a pretty shade of pinkish peach and then lighten to a soft peach color with tiny orange speckled throats. The basal foliage forms a compact clump and the plants are well-branched. Digitalis forms large rosettes of downy, green, oblong leaves from which numerous flower spikes emerge. It looks especially nice when planted along fences, at the wood's edge, or in large containers.

Water Saving Tip:

Water high water-use plants separately from low water-use plants.

Low water-use plants can grow with one-half the water needed by high water-use plants, and can be easily damaged from over watering.
