Description

Unlike many compact varieties of lavender which tend to have smaller, lighter blue flower spikes and an uneven flowering habit, ‘Blue Cushion’ forms a perfectly compact, rounded cushion of fragrant, grey-green, evergreen foliage. From early to late summer, the entire clump is covered in a dense mass of deep blue flowers which lighten to pale blue as they mature. The flowers are produced in several flushes, giving the appearance of continual bloom sometimes into early fall depending on the weather. Deadheading promotes rebloom.

Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems.

Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
