Common name:Whale Tale Mangave
Botanical name:Mangave 'Whale Tale'

The name says it all, because the first thing you'll notice about this smaller scale Mangave are its "teeth." The long and pronounced spines are presented in a rainbow of colors, ranging from cinnamon brown to yellow to orange. Blue green leaves show off the array of colors even more, with faint spotting giving the thick leaves some character. Forms a singular rosette of succulent leaves.

Darley Sunshine

Botanical name:Graptosedum 'Darley Sunshine'

This succulent hybrid has mint green rosettes that blush pink in full sun. In cold weather, the leaves turn a purple hue. As it grows, the leaves of the rosette form a spiral. Watch for white flowers in the spring.

Little River Wattle

Botanical name:Acacia cognata 'Cousin Itt'

This low shiny ground cover has a low mounding form. It does well in both hot inland or coastal settings, needing little water or care once established. It is a great addition to Mediterranean style gardens, excellent for hillside plantings, rock gardens, mass plantings and with dry creek beds. It is small in stature growing less than 2 feet tall and 4 feet wide. It looks like side-ways bamboo.

This small, mounding grass with yellow green leaves reaches 12" high. In the fall, it sends up narrow flower stems that have silvery white inflorescence. When planted in masses, it has a striking appearance. It is drought tolerant.

Quadricolor Century Plant

Botanical name:Agave lophantha 'Quadricolor'

This Texas native is found on gravelly limestone and rocky areas. Leaves are an open rosette form, fairly flat and sword-shaped, green in color with spines along the margins. This plant reaches 2' tall and 3' wide. Occasionally, this plant sends up a tall spike 12' tall with greenish yellow flowers. This marks the death of the plant but there are usually offspring close by. Plant in full to part sun with well draining soil. It is drought tolerant once it's established.

This California native is a dense, clean evergreen shrub that grows 4-8 ft high and 5 ft. wide. It is tolerant of sun or shade. It has white fragrant flowers from May - August. -Cornflower Farms

Botanical name:Sedum reflexum 'Blue Spruce'

Blue Spruce Stonecrop is a drought tolerant groundcover with small blue leaves. It has yellow flowers in early summer. It is great in a container and raised planters. It is evergreen in mild winter regions. also known as Sedum brevifolium.
