Bouteloua gracilis 'Blonde Ambition' the common name being Blonde Ambition Blue Grama, is a warm season grass with gray-green leaves sideways flower spike that is reminiscent of a flag. It grows 1 -1.5' in height. The flower is white in appearance befitting the name. It is long lived. It has larger flower spikes than the regular Blue Grama Grass. It is best in full sun and will tolerate just about any soil. However, the soil needs to be well-drained. It is drought tolerant but will always look better with some irrigation. Plant in full sun.
