Abutilon 'Victor Reiter'
Apricot Flowering Maple
Description
Apricot Flowering Maple is a variety of Abutilon that has a sensational orange tinged flower. The dangle at the end of stems in abundance are a real show to the eye. The blooms persist for months on end unlike many other flowering shrubs. For that reason, it makes a perfect focal point in the garden. It does best if grown in partial shade, with good air circulation. Its cultural requirements are the same as the parent plant- needing well draining, fertile soil in part sun or light shade. In warm inland valleys, it does best with afternoon shade.
