Description

Kent Beauty has rosy bracts that create pendulous flowers resembling flowers from the hops plant. Long trailing blooms appear in summer and fall. Prized as dried flowers. It is tolerant of full sun to light shade. Foliage is heart-shaped and blue green and aromatic. It does best with well draining, sandy or rocky soil. Established plants do best being watered every 7-14 days. A bee magnet but not for deer. Prune back in winter to tidy plant and encourage new blooms.

Water Saving Tip:

Move turf away form sidewalks and pavement.

Instead plant shrubs or groundcovers next to the pavement, and water with low-flow drip or bubbler system to eliminate runoff from turf sprinklers
