Euphorbia characias 'Tasmanian Tiger'
Spurge
Description
This perennial will reach about 3' tall and wide. It has gray green leaves with white margins. Pale yellow flowers with green center blotches bloom in summer. It prefers full sun in cooler areas and afternoon shade in warm inland valleys. It is drought tolerant once it's established. It does better with extra summer water. Soil should be dry and well draining. Broken stems exude sap that may irritate skin and be poisonous if ingested.

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs.
If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
