Bearberry Cotoneaster
Description
This prostrate, trailing evergreen shrub is primarily used as a ground cover. It is highlighted with bright green, ovate to rounded leaves with prominent veins. In the fall, Bearberry Cotoneasters are accented by small, bright red berries. Small white pinkish flowers appear in spring. It may reach 1-2' tall but spread up to 12' wide by trailing stems. It does best in full sun. Mature plant forms a thicket. Lowfast is a hardy variety.
