Description

This old-fashioned looking rose has a bicolor look with its clustered coral buds and pink double flowers with copper centers. It forms an arching shrub, reaching 5 feet high and wide, and blooms from spring to autumn, with its largest flush in the spring. Hybrid musk roses are usually fragrant. They are ideal for borders or hedges, and make excellent companions to herbaceous perennials. They can tolerate more shade than most roses. Grow in fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Provide good air circulation and remove fallen leaves to help prevent disease. Prune lightly or back by up to 1/3, reducing side shoots by 1/2 to 1/3. To renovate, prune one in four or five shoots from the base. Cornelia reaches 3-6' tall and wide. It tolerates full to part sun.
