Gazania rigens 'Sun Gold'
Clumping Gazania, Treasure Flower
Description
This is a trailing form of Gazania with gray, fuzzy leaves and bright yellow daisy-like flowers held above the foliage. A moderately fast growing, mat-like groundcover, it prefers light soil and good drainage in full sun to light shade. It should be irrigated in mornings so that foliage is dry at dusk. This superior form is quite tough, but some additional irrigation during the hottest portion of the summer will improve the appearance. Clumps usually are 8 to 10 inches tall by 2 feet or more across.

Check your irrigation controller once a month, and adjust as necessary.
Most plants require only one-third as much water in winter as they do in summer.
