Description
Camphora officinarum is an evergreen tree that grows slowly to 50 ft., or taller, and 60 ft. wide. Typically a strong structured tree with spreading limbs. The leaves are 2.5-5 in. long. The new foliage in early spring is pink, red, or bronze, wich matures to a shiny yellow green. Yellow flowers bloom profusely in late spring followed by small blackish fruits.
