Thymus pseudolanuginosus
Woolly Thyme
Description
Woolly Thyme is an herbaceous perennial used as a groundcover, as it creeps and hugs the ground to 12' wide. Tiny, pale pink flowers bloom during the summer. It likes well-drained soil and can tolerate desert heat if given afternoon shade. It looks great between pavers as it tolerates foot traffic. It makes a nice lawn substitute also. Foliage is fuzzy and gray-green.

Dig-up patches of weeds and undesirable grasses from turf areas.
Use water to grow the turf you want, not the weeds you don't want! Once you have eliminated what you don't want, add sod or over-seed to repair the bare areas.
