Description

An ornamental tree that is a Texas native, grows to 25' tall and 20' wide. Deciduous leaves are spear-shaped and green, turning red in the fall. Showy white flowers appear in spring, followed by red berries. It has a rounded habit. Birds and butterflies love this tree. It does best in full sun and accepting of variety of soils and alkalinity. Established trees are heat and drought tolerant. Bark is light gray color.
