Description

The large amount of flamboyant colors on this species come not from the small inconspicuous flowers, but rather from the three large bracts which surround them. Once established, they tend to be carefree. All varieties are susceptible to fost damage, and vary in size, vigor, and growth habit.

Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems.

Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
