Rosa Climbing varieties
Climbing Rose
Description
With its dark green foliage and fragrant flowers with full and double blooms, this upright shrub is generally grown as a vine or pillar rose. Climbing varieties come in many colors such as pink, white, orange, red, purple-blue, or yellow. This group of roses can cover a wall or arbor or even a tree occasionally! Roses do best in full sun although some varieties will tolerate afternoon shade. They prefer well draining, fertile soil. Medium watering and more during hot summer months.

Apply as little fertilizer as possible.
If you use fertilizer make sure it stays on the landscape, and carefully water it in so there is NO runoff.
