Cordyline 'Design A Line Burgundy'
Burgundy Cordyline
Description
The Design A Line cultivar is an evergreen grass that grows 2' to 3' tall and wide. It has sword-like leaves with a burgundy red color. Juvenile plants have a more vertical habit but with age, the plant begins to have more a vase shape, with the tips reaching the ground. It likes full sun in coastal areas but will tolerate deep shade in warm, inland valleys, developing more purple color. During the summer, small pale lilac, fragrant flowers appear above the foliage. This plant needs regular watering and well draining soil.
