Description

Senecio barbertonicus is an evergreen succulent that can grow 3 to 5 feet tall and wide. It has 2 inch long, fleshy, upward pointing stems, typical of senecios, that bear golden flowers at the top of the plant in the fall and winter. Plant in full sun to light shade in well-drained to sandy soil and irrigate little to occasionally. It can often withstand cold snaps down into the 20s.
