Gazania 'Sunrise'
Sunrise Yellow Gazania
Description
This somewhat hardy perennial will grow 6"-12" high and produces wonderful, bright yellow flowers accented with an inner orange ring. Will typically only bloom in full sun; flowers may close in shade or cloudy conditions. This ground cover does best in well draining, dry, sandy or loam soil. It will spread about 12". Tolerates seaside conditions, wind and urban pollution. In inland warm areas, this ground cover may bloom from spring through fall. Does not tolerate soggy soil or frost. Plants need regular watering until established, then only occasional watering.

Water high water-use plants separately from low water-use plants.
Low water-use plants can grow with one-half the water needed by high water-use plants, and can be easily damaged from over watering.
