This perennial will reach 1'-2' tall and has small green leaves with purple flowers that bloom during warm weather. It is frost tender but will come back when the ground warms up. Feed with an all-purpose fertilizer once a month during the growing season. Verbena works as a great groundcover. Pinch ends to promote dense growth.

Lavender flowers accent the trailing growth habit of this lantana. It is excellent for spilling over walls or down banks. Eventually will reach about 2' tall by 6' wide, size controlled by pruning and severity of winter. Full sun, drought tolerant.
Native of South America. A rapid grower. Tolerates heat, smog and poor soil. Cold hardy to mid 20s but quick recovery. Fruit poisonous. Very attractive to butterflies.

This Abelia derives its name from the golden yellow variegated leaves and red stems which gives it a "kaleidoscope" effect. This medium-sized evergreen shrub blooms all summer, showing small, pink bell-shaped flowers. It is a low, compact selection for patio containers or massing as a groundcover. Great plant for accenting purposes. It can reach 2.5' tall and spread 3.5'. Needs regular water during hot spells.

Lemon Lime has chartreuse new foliage that fades to a nice green, and will not turn red, even over the winter. It grows to about 3 ft in height and width. It has all the usual hardy features of the Nandina group. This is a tough plant.
