This low mounding perennial, with fine leaves and white to pinkish daisy-like flowers, is an excellent asset to rock gardens.

The Mexican primrose is a perrenial that remains 10-12 in. high with profuse pink flowers in the summer. It spreads by underground rhizomes, drought tolerant, and hardy to 10 degrees F. It attracks hummingbirds.- Cornflower Farms

Verbena lilacina 'De La Mina' is a selection introduced by the Santa Barbara Botanical Garden. It follows the same wonderful characteristics described under the general species V. lilacina.

Purple Autumn Sage

Common name:Purple Autumn Sage
Botanical name:Salvia greggii 'Purple'

This shrub will grow 1'-4' tall and wide. It has glossy green leaves with purple flowers that bloom from spring through fall. It prefers well draining soil with regular watering although it will take drought conditions. It will become leggy looking. Prune spent flowers to encourage more blooming.
