This tender perennial is a clump-forming evergreen that produces fuzzy, yellow green flowers that bloom in spring and last for over 2 months. Many sizes and varieties are available including yellow and pink flowers.

Broad clusters of lime green flowers appear in winter and spring. These flowers create dense, round cylindrical masses! This evergreen perennial has upright stems forming a 4' tall dome-shaped bush. Crowded all along the stems are narrow, blue-green leaves. Once it's established, it is drought tolerant. Until the seeds ripen, the flower color holds with only slight fading. At that point, the stalks should be cut out at the base. Use gloves as sap is poisonous.

Compact variation of yellow bulbine. Plant grows to about 1' tall by 1-2' wide. Orange flowers bloom almost all year long. Plants stay evergreen, but will freeze to the ground in the event of serious frost. Frost-damaged plants will regrow in spring. Delicate coppery orange flowers with fluffy yellow centers are on tall spikes that rise above the foliage. This selection is free flowering spring summer and fall. 1' x 2'

This stable variegated form of Cistus hybridus has a low mounding habit that hugs the ground and creates a super colorful, evergreen colorspot. 'Mickie' hails from northern Washington State and has survived some brutal winters. Charming white flowers punctuate the flashy foliage in May and June. Use in fall mixed containers like you would use Coleus in summer. This perennial quickly reaches 18" tall and spreads 36". It does best in full sun and prefers poor to moderately fertile soil with good drainage. Tolerant of mildly alkaline soils. Best pH range: 6.5-8.5. Water deeply and infrequently once established. Drought tolerant. Similar to the British variety 'Gold Prize', this stable variegated form of Cistus hybridus has a lower, mounding habit and has stable variegation. Use as a low mounding shrub as an accent or in mass planting. Use in fall in containers with several plants. All Cistus prefer dry, sunny habitats and poor soils.

Striking, generally multi-trunked, deciduous tree to 25' tall and wide. Three-way cross between P. aculeata, P. microphyllum, and P. floridum. Trees are thornless and produce abundant clusters of yellow fragrant flowers in the spring that attract bees. This tree has a smooth green colored trunk. Leaves are tiny and light green. It does best in full sun in clay, loam or sandy soil. Very attractive. Mature trees are drought tolerant.

Beschorneria yuccoides 'Flamingo Glow' is a lovely agave/yucca like shrub with long variegated strap leaves. It grows from 3-5 ft. and has an attractive strip of yellow in the center of the leaf. It has handsome pink flower stalks in summer with reddish pink bracts. It is best in full sun. Mature plants require very little irrigation.

Practice grass-cycling by leaving short grass clippings on lawns after mowing, so that nutrients and organic matter are returned to the soil.
