Blue Cushion English Lavender

Common name:Blue Cushion English Lavender
Botanical name:Lavandula angustifolia 'Blue Cushion'

Unlike many compact varieties of lavender which tend to have smaller, lighter blue flower spikes and an uneven flowering habit, ‘Blue Cushion’ forms a perfectly compact, rounded cushion of fragrant, grey-green, evergreen foliage. From early to late summer, the entire clump is covered in a dense mass of deep blue flowers which lighten to pale blue as they mature. The flowers are produced in several flushes, giving the appearance of continual bloom sometimes into early fall depending on the weather. Deadheading promotes rebloom.

Blue Gem Westringia

Common name:Blue Gem Westringia
Botanical name:Westringia 'Blue Gem'

This evergreen shrub will grow 3'-6' high and 6'-8' wide and has lavender flowers that bloom from winter through spring. It is drought tolerant and does well in full sun or partial shade. A more compact and showier selection that produces masses of luminous bluish purple flowers in spring and often lightly year-round. Perfect in tough spots; performs in sun, harsh inland heat or rugged coastal exposures, with minimal watering or care. Great in natural form, or shear into a low formal hedge. Evergreen.

Karley Rose Oriental Fountain Grass

Common name:Karley Rose Oriental Fountain Grass
Botanical name:Pennisetum orientale 'Karley Rose'

'Karley Rose' is the most significant of the Fountain Grasses. It is known for its decorative, rose purple plumes that move elegantly in the wind. It can be used in containers. 'Karley Rose' is a cold hardy variety that holds its blooms throughout the season. Tolerant of both drought and partial shade, this fountain grass has winter interest and has no major pest or disease issues.
