This succulent perennial will grow to about 1.5' tall and 2' wide. It has curved, blue/gray leaves that are about 3.5" long and very slender.

Red Pencil Tree

Botanical name:Euphorbia tirucalli 'Sticks on Fire'

This plant is probably one of the most popular and well known of the Euphorbias; its beautiful, freely branching, vertical lines of deep green, mottled in the center with a zig-zaggy pattern of cream colors makes it outstanding. Generally grows to 6' tall x 2' wide, but can get to be much larger. It does well in full sun in cool coastal areas or part shade elsewhere in hotter climates. Branches are as thin as pencils and are reddish color. Leaves are inconspicuous. When pruning or breaking stems, sap may irritate skin.

Pink Muhly Regal Mist

Botanical name:Muhlenbergia capillaris 'Regal Mist'

Fast growing grass forms 3' dense rosette. During bloom period in fall, a haze of frothy deep pink flowers cover the plant. Small clump grass with narrow glossy green leaves. It will go dormant in the winter and should be cut to ground in spring. Accepts full sun, reflected sun or light shade. Native to eastern Texas.

Pink Gaura

Pink Gaura is a profusely flowering perennial for all zones that grows 2'-3' tall and wide. It has maroon buds that open to showy, reddish pink flowers in spring through fall. It needs full sun with well draining soil. However in desert areas, it appreciates afternoon shade with regular watering. In non-desert areas, it is drought tolerant once it's established. Prune plant in spring to refreshen and fertilize to ensure more blooms. Looks great in containers.

Dymondia, Rock Ditty

Botanical name:Dymondia margaretae

This foliage is gray/green/silvery and the margaretae is a very dense, mat forming groundcover. It tolerates drought, cold, salt spray and poor soils. It's deep rooted and produces small, inconspicuous yellow flowers. Great for use in between stepping stones or pavers.

Quadricolor Century Plant

Botanical name:Agave lophantha 'Quadricolor'

This Texas native is found on gravelly limestone and rocky areas. Leaves are an open rosette form, fairly flat and sword-shaped, green in color with spines along the margins. This plant reaches 2' tall and 3' wide. Occasionally, this plant sends up a tall spike 12' tall with greenish yellow flowers. This marks the death of the plant but there are usually offspring close by. Plant in full to part sun with well draining soil. It is drought tolerant once it's established.

Spectacular accent for desert gardens. Tolerates drought, full sun, reflected heat, poor soils & cold to at least 0f. Rosettes of leaves to about 3-4' tall x 6' wide. Red flower stalks emerge spring & remain on plant till end of summer. Evergreen. Will spread to form crowded grasslike clump. Flowers pink to nearly red. Tx & Mx. Drought resistant but will appear better & bloom longer with added moisture. Very frost tolerant. Leaves grey green. Soil tolerant.

Kiwi Aeonium

Kiwi Aeonium is a succulent that forms rosettes of multi-colored leaves. The leaves in the center are yellow in color and become green towards the edges. The edges of the leaves are red. In the summer it has yellow flowers. It is good in full sun and is drought tolerant. Great accent plant for Mediterranean Gardens.

A long-blooming Sage that blooms all summer with eye-catching red and white bicolor flowers. The nectar-rich flowers attract hummingbirds and other pollinators. Blooms from spring through hard frost in fall. Bi-colored flowers but turn red in heat.
