This evergreen shrub has glossy yellow-green leaves and produces clusters of white flowers that have a fragrance similar to that of orange blossoms. It makes an excellent informal hedge or screen. It requires full sun for growth and partial shade when grown in hot areas. It will need soil amendments if grown in alkaline soil or if water is high in salts.

This is a consistently good performer, with leaves of 1-2" inches that are dark green on top, and gray and hairy beneath. Its long, blooming 3" wide flowers are a reddish-purple color with a red spot at the base of each petal, and are quite attractive. It can be pruned regularly. This plant is a small evergreen shrub with narrow wavyedged aromatic leaves. It has large rosy crimson flowers with a maroon blotch at the base. It has yellow stamens.

Classified as an evergreen shrub or a small tree, this plant can be pruned to almost any size or shape. Its foliage is gray-green and silvery underneath. White flowers with bright red stamens can be seen, followed by 1-4" long, oval, edibl fruit.
Full sun is required for proper growth.
